UTSF and MSU Reach Agreement on 2026 Raises

After months of hard work, the UTSF Negotiating Team has reached a tentative agreement with MSU on the amount and structure of tenure-system faculty’s raises for 2026. 

The agreement is subject to a full UTSF membership vote. This vote will open on Thursday (August 6, 2026) at 11am and will close Monday (August 10, 2026) at 3pm. The vote will be sent via email and is open to all UTSF members. If you are not yet a UTSF member and you want to cast your vote on the agreement, please join UTSF before 9am on Monday so that you can cast your vote before the 3pm deadline. 

If you join, you will not owe any membership dues for the time being. This agreement does not trigger any membership dues. Dues will begin after the full first contract is ratified at some point in the future.

UTSF will hold a virtual general membership meeting on Thursday (August 6, 2026) at 10am to discuss the agreement. This meeting is open to all UTSF members. If you want to attend the meeting to get more information or ask questions, please join UTSF before 9am on Thursday. Meeting information will be sent to UTSF members via email.
